Colon drainage is a technique with its origins in traditional Chinese medicine.
It is very helpful in treating occasional cases of acute constipation. Cases of chronic constipation are a job for a specialist.
This treatment should be carried out at least 2 hours after eating, and the bladder should be emptied beforehand.
It involves a massage of the large intestine, performed in a clockwise direction. The recipient must be lying on their back, with the belly loose and relaxed. Very little or no oil is used, and the massage becomes progressively more intense.
