Therapeutic massage is a manual therapy designed to produce a series of controlled physiological reactions in the musculoskeletal system and/or other body systems.
Specifically, it consists of the physical handling, through the skin, of muscles, tendons, serous membranes, ligaments and viscera, with the therapeutic purpose of relieving pain and preventing injuries.
It is used to treat cases of swelling, sprains, knotted muscles and all injuries that limit mobility and function, with a focus on recovery.
